The Book of Life: Threads is a work of literary fiction. There are however themes in the novel which are fantastic constructs exploring multi dimensional facets of the human experience.

There are thirty six short stories comprising the novel. Each story centers around one or more of fourteen characters dealing with internal or external conflict arising out of the most traumatizing or enlightening experiences of their lives. All of the stories and characters are connected through the experience itself or their respective struggles to overcome some undesired aspect of their life (including their personality) that flowed as a direct consequence of the experience. 

The novel centers around the different approaches, including gender shifting, quantum physics and psychotropic drugs, characters choose to employ in order to  overcome certain ways of being that resulted from their shared experiences. Unbeknownst to all but three main characters, each of the characters respective experiences, and the treatments they choose and refuse, connect them all. There are diverse cultures represented, as well as queer and multi generational story lines. 

Threads is the first step of a journey into the connections, or threads, touching all human life across time and space. It prepares the reader for a look behind the curtain at my fantastic take on the nature of human existence and the multi dimensional experience it occupies.
